The thing about depression

Here's a thing about depression; you won't understand it until it happens to you. You won't know how powerful it is until anxiety attacks you at three in the morning. People are great pretenders, but the ones who are depressed are actually the best in hiding their real feelings. They still smile despite of all the chaos running endlessly in their minds. They still laugh like nothing bothers them. Some people often say that the ones with depression are the weakest, but no. They are actually the strongest. Despite of having no will to live; despite of how waking up every morning doesn't excite them anymore; despite of all their suicidal thoughts, they still manage to survive every single day of their lives. They still manage to look back at you and smile. And if you think depression is just some kind of joke, think again. Depression is a serious case. Thousands of people die every year because of it. If you still think it's just a joke, are you ev

He

He was my sunshine . He brightened up my days and put a smile on my face. When we were still together, everything seemed fine. He was my lucky charm. He kept me free from harm. I felt secured everytime he held me in his arms. He was my favorite person. He used to be there for me from dusk till dawn. But he suddenly left, and the only thing that stayed in my mind was his unclear reason. He was my the one that could have been. He promised he'd be there for me through thick and thin. But when I needed him, he was nowhere to be found and my messages remained unseen. He was my first love yet also my first heartache. His actions and words were all fake. He left me--- only for his ex lover's sake.  I know right now he's already happy. Please don't call me selfish if I tell you I still want him to end up with me. I'm still hoping that one day, he'll come back--- no matter how impossible and complicated it could be.

She is...

This is how she has been living her whole life. She's too kind . She has a good heart for everybody. The two main reasons why people take her for granted. No matter how much you hurt her, she'll still stay beside you. She likes to help other people, be it in simple or complicated way. She gives advices to other people about how to deal with their struggles in life. Little did they know, she can't even face her own struggles.  She doesn't like compliments for she believes that they are all sugar coated lies . She hates it everytime someone tells her she's pretty for she knows it to herself that she's not. She can't even look at her own reflection because everytime she does, what she's seeing isn't her own refection, but an image of a fragile and vulnerable girl instead. She loves to sleep . She can fall asleep anytime and anywhere. She falls asleep way too fast. She loves to sleep for it's the only way she can do t

What I've Learned

"To write is to breathe. To breathe is to live. To live is to do something more than just existing." *** Here are the nineteen things I've learned as a writer.📝 1. If you have free time, a notebook/paper and a pen, write. 2. Update your stories as often as you can. 3. One step at a time; one story at a time. 4. Always be open for constructive criticism. It allows every writer to learn and improve their stories, as well as their writing skills. 5. Don't pressure yourself. If you can't think of anything to write, relax your mind. 6. Never let laziness eat you. 7. A good choice of background music helps a lot. 8. Don't let your insecurities ruin your writer persona. Learn to wait. You'll have your own published books someday. You'll gonna have your own booksigning. Just wait for your turn. 9. Read some tips from different authors to improve your writing skills. 10. Stay hydrated. I always make sure I have a glass of water beside me whenever
